For tangueros who are serious about
making women happy on the dance floor:
HOW TO IMPROVISE
WITH GREATER SKILL & CONFIDENCE
and lead your partners in tandas they will love!
Many tango lovers say that, although Osvaldo Pugliese's music is beautiful and inspiring, it's the most challenging orchestra to dance to.
What if you had the knowledge and practice under your belt to improvise to Pugliese as easily as you do to Di Sarli or Caló?
Here is a low-cost program that will help you learn and practice dancing to a tango
that's been thoroughly analyzed for you - Pugliese's “Mala Junta” (1943).
It gives you a 3-tool method to learn how to dance confidently to “Mala Junta,” including the trickiest musical elements! With this guided process of study and practice, you’ll improve your musical interpretation, phrase by phrase, even if you don't have a practice partner.
This mini-training will give you a foundation to dance well to other tangos, too.
Helaine Treitman, creator of the “Tango Musicality Mojo” learning system
In this mini-training you'll get:
Two different, complete improvisations to "Mala Junta" (1943).
Four short videos, each showing a variety of improvisational solutions to repeating 2-phrase segments of music that contain interesting or challenging elements.
Two interpretations of a "juicy" 6-7 phrase segment (rich with musically interesting elements) - one simple demo and one more complex.

Tool #3 - "Matching Movements to Music" Done-For-You Cheat Sheet!
In this PDF, you'll find a section for each musical phrase in the training:
a short MP3 of every phrase, followed by:
👉 a list of every important musical element in that phrase
👉 a list of suggestions for several tango movements that match each of those musical elements. You can test these out for yourself, in addition to Beto & Lis's video examples, and practice dancing them over and over to those musical elements.
Future enhancements to the Cheat Sheet are included at no extra cost. These are in response to user questions and requests!
You'll also get coaching!
A red "help button" at the bottom of the mini-training page lets you submit questions and get my coaching on issues that come up in your practice!
Who's this mini-training for?
Unlike with my big program, Tango Musicality Mojo, which I designed for analytical tangueros, this small but meaty program is for tangueros and couples who don't want to do any analysis, but just want helpful information and instructions and rapid results. I've done all the music analysis for you and given you answers in the Cheat Sheet!
Note: all these media files are from the first half of Mala Junta. Why? The second half of this tango is almost identical to the first. What's extra in the second half is the 4-phrase speedy bandoneon variation at the end. Beto & Lis show some bandoneon variation options in an earlier phrase. So, if you master the first half of this tango, which you can do with the media tools in this mini-training, you can "nail" the whole tango . . . and you'll be on your way to dancing to Pugliese with greater ease and confidence because you will have done the work of serious, guided practice!
You can use this mini-training collection of audio files, demo videos, and cheat-sheet details & suggestions to practice dancing effectively to "Mala Junta" for a few months - and come back whenever you like to cycle through it again to go deeper!
"I followed your [Mala Junta] tutorial with pleasure and learned many things. First, to listen to and interpret musical tempos. My tango has definitely improved and I thank you. I hadn't seen the videos for about three months and recently went back. Every time I find new things. If you think about creating other shorts let me know." Antonino
